Amanda Nokes, The Woman Behind The Company

A native of the East Coast, Amanda has many fond memories of baking with her mother, Barbara. Always finding a sweet lining to life and what it had decided to throw her adolescent way.

In her early 20’s Amanda relocated to Seattle, Washington with the desire to experience the culture and change of scenery that a new place had to offer.

Making Seattle her new permanent residence, -- now with two young children and roots in the Great Northwest -- she has rekindled her creative side in the kitchen. Her hours spent mastering techniques to enhance even the simplest of recipes has led Amanda to pursue this re-found love of baked goods.

In 2009, Amanda helped to establish Manderin Cookie Company in West Seattle -- supplying tasty treats to consumers and retail outlets both local and national.

In 2010, Amanda became the sole owner of Manderin and loves that she gets to share her cookie passion daily with the world.
